All are designed for cyclists and athletes of all ages and abilities with several distances to choose from. Below is a brief description for each event and a link to learn more. All support a number of charitable beneficiaries.
El Tour de Mesa
El Tour partners with CycloMesa – a bike festival in downtown Mesa, Az to celebrate all things bicycle! El Tour de Mesa is open to all ages and abilities offering metric century and metric half-century distances all routed throughout Mesa with the finish line in downtown Mesa. Routes extend into the beautiful and rugged backdrop of the Salt River Recreation Area and Tonto National Forest.

Loop the Loop
El Tour’s newest event, Loop the Loop, is a celebration of bicycling that kicks off “El Tour Season.” This FREE event encourages cyclists to pedal on THE LOOP, Pima County’s scenic multi-use path that is 95% away from traffic. Everyone is encouraged to bicycle all or part of The Loop, meet El Tour’s beneficiaries and win prizes at the “After Party”.
Bicycling on The Loop: 6:30am – 10:30am Party 11:00am-1pm. Must be present to win.
El Tour de Tucson
Held annually the Saturday before Thanksgiving, El Tour attracts over 9,000 cyclists from throughout the United States and beyond who ride 106, 76, 54, 37 or 28 miles along the perimeter of Tucson, AZ. The Fun Ride offers shorter miles (10, 5, or 1 miles) on a generally flat course mostly using the Santa Cruz River path. El Tour is an excellent event for novice, intermediate, advanced, and professional riders. The “alternative” to the road-cycling event is Indoor El Tour (below).

Cochise County Cycling Classic
Cyclists rode 165, 95, 47 or 27-mile events, all routed through beautiful southeastern Arizona where the west is still wild. Cochise Classic is the perfect Fall event for all cyclists. It offers a test of your readiness for El Tour de Tucson and for platinum-seekers, the last chance to qualify for platinum before El Tour! The last year for this event was 2017.

El Tour Adventure Run
El Tour Adventure Run/Walk kicked off El Tour season with a event to enjoy fitness in the crisp early morning. It brought together a special group of runners/walkers and volunteers. Beneficiaries were Girls On The Run and MyTeam Triumph. It was discontinued after 2015. The new activity to Kick Off El Tour season is Loop the Loop!
Viva Bike Vegas
In 2014 Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, Inc. produced the 7th Zappos.com Viva Bike Vegas in association with the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC), city of Las Vegas and city of Henderson and LasVegas.com. Cyclists of all ages and abilities rode distances of 101, 62 or 25 miles. Sadly, Viva Bike Vegas was discontinued after 2014. Tour of the Tucson Mountains
We bid farewell to this fun event in 2012. This tour offered 73 and 27-mile courses, plus Fun Rides of 4 & 1/4 mile events. The 73-mile event is a perimeter ride around the base of the beautiful Tucson Mountains. A link remains on our site so you can check out the history.
