About the event

Proceeds from the event benefited Girls on the Run Tucson (GOTR) – a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade.   The event also supported MyTeam TRIUMPH, an athletic ride-along program created for people with disabilities who would normally not be able to experience athletic events and Friends 4 the Future whose mission is to educate children and adolescents in the life skills of healthy eating and active living.

Starting and finishing at The Gregory School  (formerly St. Gregory’s) on Craycroft south of River, participants followed the tranquil multi-use Rillito River Path, avoiding motor vehicle traffic on the streets.
