Perimeter Profile: Susan Dubow

Friday, March 30th, 2012

First Vice President, RBC Wealth Management – Tucson Branch

Last year Susan Dubow rode with a small team of folks raising money for Parkinsons because she has a friend with the disease. She had so much fun she wanted to continue this year. Dubow got the rest of the RBC Royal Bank of Canada – Tucson crew engaged.

“Richard Schaefer, RBC Branch Director has been involved with Tu Nidito for years. He saw a natural link for RBC and Tu Nidito,” said Dubow. Making a clever play on the RBC acronym, Dubow came up with ‘Riding Bikes For Children’ as the program name.  “We’ve just begun promoting this program and already 25 people from around North America have expressed interest in coming to Tucson, said Dubow. “Our goal is to build a team of 100 cyclists. So far, most are RBC employees but we’re planning to offer this program to clients also.”

“I don’t think there is a more community- oriented firm,” Dubow said. “It’s phenomenal from the top down!” The commitment to community is evident on the RBC website. Dubow has completed four El Tours – she plans to ride the 42-mile event again this year.
