(1) General Information
El Tour’s Fun Ride is for cyclists riding road bikes, mountain bikes, BMX, tandems, wheelchairs or any human powered cycle.  The route is flat and fun for the whole family, for beginners, for folks who just want to pedal in the sun!

There’s a lot of important information below that you need to know.  Scroll down to download the application.  Sorry, no online registration for Fun Ride.

Two distances to choose from, both start at 11:00am:

  • 10-mile course
  • 5-mile course

Some rules to be aware of:
+ No motor/electric assisted bikes, gas or electric.
+ All cyclists must properly wear a CPSC-approved helmet.
+ All cyclists must obey traffic laws and officials.

Kids in trailers welcome – must be registered and can ride for FREE – adult “captains” must register too and must pay for.

All participants receive a packet of “goodies” from event supporters. All those finishing will receive a unique medallion.

To register for the ride, download the pdf application which will be posted here; mail to: Perimeter Bicycling – El Tour Fun Ride, 2609 East Broadway, Tucson, Arizona 85716; or, if you need more information call El Tour office at (520) 745-2033.

(2) Fees
$15.00 each for Individuals – including adults/guardians, who must register to participate.
$10.00 each person in a group of four (4) or more. Applications & fees for ALL group members  MUST be submitted together.  No add-ons later.

An event T-shirt will be available for an additional $10.
Supplies limited.

(3) Benefits

  • Special Fun Ride Medallion to all finishers
  • Packet with goodies from event supporters
  • Rider name published in Summer issue of Tail Winds newspaper and/or this website
  • Kids 12 and younger in all distances will be entered into a drawing for a BMX bicycle. Winner will be notified after the event.

Parents/guardians must sign rider waiver for both themselves and their minor(s) when picking up packet.

Saturday, April 6, 2019 – Ride Day
9:30am – 10:30am
At the info tent of the start/finish line.    Avoid the crush at the start line and pick up at Expo on Friday.
