Wanted: Writers for Tail Winds articles

Tuesday, February 12th, 2013

We are seeking additional writers for articles for this publication.  You don’t have to be a published journalist but you do have to write well. Our articles focus on outdoor activities and topics that lead to a healthier lifestyle—we are looking for writers who take pride in well-crafted articles about adventure and overcoming obstacles, either imposed by nature or self. Articles can be of the writer’s choosing or assigned by the editor. We prefer writers who know how to use power-packed verbs and just the right number of clever adjectives, as well as writers with knowledge of journalistic style, access to high-quality photographs, and the ability to meet deadlines.

We also are seeking essay writers for Journeys, a column in Tail Winds on the exploration we take within, how a place or experience or the company we keep while traveling plumbs our depths and exposes something we didn’t know about ourselves or weren’t able to realize before.

Interested?  Email Lisa K. Harris, interim Tail Winds editor at editor@perimeterbicycling.com with Want to Write in the subject line.
