Welcome Volunteers!
At Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, we truly appreciate all of those who have helped us in the past and always welcome new volunteers! If you, someone you know, or an organized group are interested in volunteering for any of our events please keep in mind that we have several opportunities available and everyone is welcome to be part of the fun!

Below you will find event-specific information such as known dates, locations and shifts. For specific information about how you can help please see: Volunteer Position Descriptions.  For specific information about our Aid Stations and SAG Support opportunities please see: Aid Station/On-The-Route Descriptions.  Remember that each volunteer who contributes 4 or more community service hours during any event will receive an official event t-shirt as a token of our appreciation! (Sizes may be subject to availability so sign up early)

Our Individual Volunteer Information Form can be submitted to us anytime for inclusion on our email list. Our Group Volunteer Information Form can be submitted for those who would like to recruit friends, coworkers or business associates to volunteer with them.  We will email a Volunteer Callout to everyone on our list approximately 4-6 weeks prior to an event date and fill positions on a first-come, first-serve basis.

AID STATION / ON-THE-ROUTE OPPORTUNITIES

Aid stations are an integral part of the El Tour experience! These stations are located approximately every 8 miles along the route and serve water and food to event participants.  All stations are located well off the roadway and volunteers are required to keep a safe distance from the street.  We encourage volunteer groups or businesses to make these stations their own and really enjoy the interaction with the riders that are always so happy to see them.  Some of our aid stations have been taken care of by loyal volunteer groups and businesses who have been manning them for many years – we will always give them the first right of refusal before going to the waiting list.  If you would like to be placed on the waiting list, please send an email to our Route Officials with a contact name, phone number, mailing address and email.  Aid Stations are limited to 10 event t-shirts per station.

SAG (Support & Guidance) Support Vehicles are located close to, if not at Aid Stations. SAG Support’s sole purpose is to provide transportation for event participants who are unable or unwilling to finish the event. If you would like to find out more about being part of our SAG Support Team, please send an email to our Route Officials.
