22nd Cochise County Cycling Classic
To cover the cost of online registration,
an $8.00 convenience fee per each registration
will be added to your event fee.
Aerobars are prohibited in all Perimeter Bicycling events except the 252 & 157-mile events of the
Cochise County Cycling Classic. Aerobars must be removed prior to participation.
CPSC-approved helmet required.
Registration for the event is open through Friday, October 16, 2009
however, ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES ON Thursday, October 15, 2009.
October 16 in person registration will be accepted at
Cochise Classic Expo/Packet Pick Up in Douglas, AZ.

please consider registering at the Expo/packet pick up to avoid confusion or any registration issues.

Event Distances for Cochise Classic:
252 miles. Start time: 2:00 am. An ultra-distance event. At all times, cyclists are required to be fully supported by a follow vehicle with a minimum of one crew member. All state and local road and traffic laws apply, especially night riding requiring appropriate lighting on the bicycle and the follow vehicle. Support crew and cyclist are required to attend the pre-ride meeting in Douglas, AZ the night before the event.157 miles. Start time: 6:20 a.m. An ultra-distance event. Cochise registration is comprised of three elements:
processing fee, registration/entry fee and minimum contribution.
The processing fee increases according to the schedule below.
The registration/entry fee changes depending on the option you
choose from the chart below.
Your total cost will depend on the date you register and your contributions.

A specially designed limited edition 18 x 24 poster commemorating the event.
- Prize Certificates -
Based on total contributions received, two Prize Certificates for every $10 will be issued.
Each certificate has a value of $1.00.
Certificates are redeemable for goods or services at Perimeter Bicycling's
Information and Redemption Centers and may also be used for
Perimeter Bicycling events and merchandise.
- Perimeter Bicycling Jersey -
A lightweight jersey specially designed for Perimeter Bicycling,
highlighting our 5 cycling events: El Tour de Phoenix, Tour of the Tucson Mountains, Tour de Mt. Fuji, Cochise County Cycling Classic, and El Tour de Tucson.
- Conquistador Trophy -
A special metal bicycle sculpture hand made by artist Toni Sodersten of Bisbee, Arizona.

Contributions paid to Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, Inc .in Cochise Classic are tax-deductible as allowable by the IRS. Proceeds go to Douglas Association for Retarded Citizens and other Perimeter Bicycling charities. Fees paid to Perimeter Bicycling are not tax deductible.
