| Introduction: Welcome to "El Tour Kids & Family Fun Ride
Information Section" for the Tucson Medical
Center El Tour
Kids Fun Ride, scheduled for Saturday,
November 18, 2006. To help you register for this year's Kids Fun
Ride, we're presenting our information in five different areas:

Thank you for visiting our Kids Fun Ride page and we hope to see
you cycling on November 18th!
(1) General
Information Kids Fun Ride is two events: All cyclists receive a medallion
and a package of "goodies" from our sponsors. If registered
before November 9th, a special t-shirt will be reserved
for you. Late registrants may receive a t-shirt if any remain
- so register early!
The Kids Fun Ride Awards Ceremony
starts at 10:15 a.m. with awards for the Highest Money Raiser
(must raise at least $500 to qualify), Most Decorated Bike Award,
and more! The highest money raiser for Tu Nidito will receive the
Pizza Hut Kids Fun Ride Treasure Chest filled with gifts including
a bicycle, supplies, toys and lots of fun stuff... over $1,000 of
gifts! Following the Kids Fun Ride, the
El Tour Downtown Fiesta begins! Don't miss the music, food, jumping
castles, face painting, arts and crafts! Stay all day at the El Tour
Downtown Fiesta - over 75 performers including Tucson Puppet Works,
stilt walkers and balloon magic. You'll see BMX trickster riders and
the Tucson Roller Derby Girls. Proceeds from this year's event will
benefit Tu Nidito Children and Family Services. Tu
Nidito, which is Spanish for "your little nest", is a very
special not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to provide individual,
family and group support through emotional, educational, social and
spiritual services to children and their families as they deal with
serious illnesses and death. Fees, prize certificate information
and contest links are presented below in Sections #2, 3 & 4.

or to enter the coloring contest, download the Kids
Fun Ride application
and/or the coloring contest (Adobe Acrobat Reader required) and mail
to: TMC El Tour Kids Fun Ride, 2609 East Broadway, Tucson, Arizona
85716; or, if you need more information call El Tour office at 1-520-745-2033.
(2) Fees
Individual Registration -
do one of the following: (3) Prize Certificates Collect Contributions for Tu Nidito and
receive Prize Certificates. These certificates can be used to buy:
... at any of Perimeter Bicycling's Information and Redemption
(I&R) Centers throughout Arizona. Collect more than $50 for Tu Nidito and you will receive TWO Prize Certificates
for every $10 collected. Raise $50- receive 10 certificates Raise $100-receive 20 certificates Raise $200-receive 40 certificates You will be given your Prize Certificates when you pick up your packet,
rider number and t-shirt
Win a bike! Mail your entry along with your name, birthdate, address
and phone number to: El Tour Coloring Contest 2609 E. Broadway Tucson, AZ 85716 All entries must be received by Tuesday, November 21, 2006.
Contest winners will be notified on Friday, December 1, 2006.
Winning entries will appear in Tail Winds Feb/Mar '07 issue.
