(1) General Information
Holualoa Companies El Tour de Mesa presented by Pierson Construction Corporation proudly announces the El Tour Fun Ride on Saturday, April 2 at the El Tour de Mesa main start/finish line at Red Mountain Park in Mesa, Arizona, 1/4 mile east of Power & Brown Rd .

El Tour Fun Ride is two events:
4-mile event - flat course for young cyclists, their families and friends on road bikes, mountain bikes, BMX, tandems, or anything on two wheels. Please, no motor assist bikes, gas or electric.
Start time: 10:30 a.m.
1/4-mile event - a special short course (slightly less less than 1/4 -mile) for cyclists on tricycles, bicycles with babies, training wheels, handcycles, wheelchairs, or babies in bicycle trailers. Adults, family and friends are encouraged to ride, run, or skate along. Start time: 10:45 a.m.

All participants receive a package of "goodies" from our sponsors. All those finishing will receive a unique medallion.
El Tour Fun Ride Awards Ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m. with a special award for the Most Decorated Bike!
Be sure to stick around for the El Tour Fiesta, which continue throughout the day! Don't miss the music, food, and a jumping castle! Stay all day at the El Tour Fiesta and relax while enjoying a refreshing snow cone, or eat lunch at the BBQ fundraiser by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

(2) Fees
Fun Ride is open to riders of all ages and abilities.
Registration fee: $15.00 and everyone - including adults/guardians, who must register to participate. Groups of 4 or more receive a special rate of $10 per cyclist. One application per cyclist; group applications MUST be submitted together. All finishers will receive a medallion.

Kids 12 and younger in all distances will be entered into a drawing for a BMX bicycle from Global Bikes in Glibert, AZ. Winner will be notified.

Parents/guardians must sign rider waiver for both themselves and their minor(s) when picking up packet.

Packets may also be picked up on Ride Day, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Red Mountain Park, 1/4mile east of Power Rd on Brown and Sun Valley Blvd from 8:30am - 10:00am prior to the ride. Parking available at Red Mountain High School, adjacent to the startline. There is NO event parking at Red Mountain Park.
